E 79th Street Residence

 

Duplex apartment combination in a pre-war building connecting the upstairs apartment with a ground floor recreation room. In a new structural opening, S3 designed a blackened steel, open riser stair with stained wood treads. Surrounding the family pool table, S3 designed a "headlight" wall feature, consisting of car head lamps and exposed electrical conduit and junction boxes.
