Williamsburg Mews Residence

 

Renovation of a Williamsburg duplex loft including a new nursery, living room, master bedroom suite, bathroom, and kitchen. Natural light is pulled far into the interiors by introducing acid etched glass window panes to interior rooms. The nursery has sliding aluminum and acid etched glass doors, forming a corner when closed, but extending the living space when open. A theatrical curtain on a ceiling mounted track adds sound insulation. Bamboo flooring and recycled stone and glass materials were utilized throughout.
